Environmental Awareness through the power of Art.

The Livingston Environmental Commission (LEC) is starting a visual conversation about environmental issues that our young people are passionate about.

EnviroART was launched in September 2024 to showcase student voices, drive environmental awareness and see our future leaders leave their mark - literally on the wall!

This competition is more than just its winners, the LEC wants to hear what our High School Students think and provide access to professional mentoring and opportunities for growth. Students are encouraged to explore environmental issues, build a portfolio piece through their entry and deepen their experience of collaborative art making.

Engage with us to energize our downtown spaces and drive environmental action.

  • "A city’s identity is written on its walls. Public art is more than paint on a surface—it’s a cultural heartbeat, a living archive of stories, struggles, and triumphs.

  • From towering murals to subtle interventions, public art transforms streets into galleries, fosters civic pride, and sparks conversation.

  • It invites engagement, inspires creativity, and reflects the soul of a community—past, present, and future. . .

  • When we invest in public art, we invest in a city’s legacy, ensuring its voice is seen, felt, and remembered."
