Submission Instructions
Submissions will be accepted digitally on a google share drive.
If you intend on making a submission please email LECenviroart@gmail.com and inlcude:
your name/ team name
the emails of those you’d like to be able to edit your folder
No submission will be considered final until midnight 12/02.
You may continue to make changes within your folder up until that time.
If you also want to submit your original sketch, not just the digital copy or photograph, then you are welcome to provide that to Mr. Jay as part of your submission, you must also submit digitally.

You have access to 3 mentoring events and reach out though our sign up button with any questions you have.

2. DEVELOP
Research your theme and start building your ideas.
Three mentor sessions will be open to all entrants before the entry deadline.
Learn how to approach a mural project, how to communicate your theme and how to develop and edit your submission entry as you would have to for a professional artists Request for Proposal (RFP).

3. SUBMIT
Enter your work by submitting:
A developed concept sketch.
1 or 2 examples of your past work.
A description of your artwork to help the judges understand your concept (not more than 1 page).
Submissions will be shortlisted to 3 finalists. All entries will be on display in the competition exhibition.
To create a submission folder email your name(s) and email(s) to LECenviroart@gmail.com to access the submission share site.
Entries will be shortlisted to three artists who will be invited to submit a final design.
The three final artists will be mentored to support them in developing their ideas.
The winner will be selected by the judging panel based on their developed sketch.
The final artist will be awarded $250.
The Runners up will receive $100 each.
The final installation will be produced by the student with support from Mentor Dan Fenelon.
The Mural will be installed in 4 panels and will open officially on Earth Day 2025.
